Gordon Elliott has been firing in the winners of late and he got on the scoreboard again when Bacher Boy justified favouritism in the Sam Dennigan & Co Hurdle at Bellewstown.
Sent off the 11-10 favourite after his maiden victory at Gowran last month, the six-year-old hit the front at the third-last and was soon joined by market rival Auenschutze, who was second in the race last year.
